Your Metabolism
Your metabolism is nothing short of life sustaining. It helps your lungs when you are inhaling and exhaling. Your metabolism helps your kidneys filter waste and your metabolism helps your body convert food to energy. It also helps keep your temperature constant.
Give your metabolism a good start by doing at least 5 minutes of LifeLift breathing when you first wake up in the morning. Doing more LifeLift breaths throughout the day will help keep your metabolism working for you to burn fat, while increasing your energy.
Oxygen is the Key to Metabolism
Muscles burn two types of fuel on a cellular level: One type of fuel is sugar/glucose/glycogen and is what's happening when one is at rest or doing something like a sprint causing the breath to come in gasps and the heart to pound. This sugar fuel runs out quickly and has to be constantly replenished.
The other type of fuel is fat/adipose tissue/lipids. This fuel burns a long time with a much greater energy potential, but can't be burned unless the muscles get lots of oxygen. The big advantage of this fuel is it can be stored (even hoarded in certain circumstances) in almost unlimited quantities.
With this type of quick energy the muscles burn sugar because it can be burned without oxygen. When you are exercising to the point of getting out of breath, your muscles are deprived of oxygen and the muscles are getting insufficient oxygen for fat metabolism. When there's not enough oxygen for fat-burning, sugar-burning takes over (with related hungers).
Aerobic Exercise means an exercise that pumps large quantities of oxygen into the muscles for a sustained time to stimulate fat burning. Aerobic exercise stimulates the production of an enzyme called ATPase. With increased amounts of this enzyme in the cells you tend to burn more fat even when you're sitting around doing nothing, and generally feeling more energetic. This is why fit people have a much easier time controlling their weight and tend to prefer less fatty or surgery foods.
This is only one of the reasons LifeLift works so well. Your body is being nurtured while it is overloaded with large quantities of oxygen. By flexing and stretching your muscles at the same time you are magnetizing the oxygen to the specific muscles for a sustained time to stimulate fat burning. This is what causes the body sculpting effect.
If you are a person whose muscles are mostly adept at burning sugar, you will tend to want to stay inactive and feel constantly hungry. If you lose weight in this condition, there will be some loss of fat, but more of the loss will be unhealthy amounts of muscle tissue and water.
If you are a person whose muscles are well trained to burn fat, you will naturally favor foods that are high in complex carbohydrates with a craving for regular physical activity.
The Key to being a person whose muscles are well trained to burn fat is pure and simple, you simply need to find the best way possible to feed your body large quantities of oxygen while not overworking it. The best way to get that oxygen into your body is by doing at least 20 minutes of LifeLift daily.

Add a good morning meal
Another way to give your metabolism a good start is by eating something healthy early in the morning. Add a good morning meal to your LifeLift breaths and you will give your metabolism an added boost.
A bowl of cereal or oat bran first thing in the morning gives your stomach something to do. Feeding yourself this way means your metabolism has to get going. It is important that you don't start your day on an empty stomach, because you'll find that by mid day you will be starving and most likely end up stuffing yourself
When I began testing to see if it was more beneficial to do LifeLift on an empty stomach or with a small amount of food in the stomach, I determined that there are some benefits to doing some of your LifeLift breaths shortly after a light meal in the morning. The main benefit is you are forcing your metabolism to get going.
The rate at which you digest food and the rate at which your body combines nutrients and oxygen is to some degree inherited, but you can influence it by what and how you chose to eat.
Many people have written asking what I eat. They want to know if I diet. The answer to that is no. I eat most everything, watching my portions and making sure I eat something every few hours to keep my body fueled. I never skip breakfast and I always make sure I have plenty of snacks close by so I don't go too long without eating.
I eat a lot of Raw food. Raw food is usually defined as that which is not cooked, applied to fire or fragmented
When watermelon is in season I will eat a big bowl of watermelon a couple of times a day. I have noticed when I do this I always feel slimmer within days.
Remember to wash your watermelon with soap and water before cutting. If you cut into the watermelon without washing it you will be contaminating it with whatever may be on the outside of the watermelon skin. Remember that it was sitting in dirt and lots of people have handled it before you bought it.
Here's a sweet treat you can enjoy all you want this summer and not even feel like you're eating health food.
Did you know watermelon is heavy-weight in the Lycopene department? And that Lycopene acts as an antioxidant, helping protect cells from damage.
The Lycopene concentration in a two cup serving of watermelon tops out at about 20 milligrams, compared to another Lycopene leader the tomato. Which offers four milligrams per fresh tomato.
Watermelon contains higher levels of lycopene than any other fresh fruit or vegetable. Recent research indicates that getting enough lycopene in your diet may help reduce your risk for heart disease, plus lower your risk of prostate, esophageal and breast cancer, and possibly cervical cancer.
Eating 5 or more servings of colorful fruits and vegetables a day is part of an important plan for healthier living. That's because deeply hued fruits and vegetables provide the wide range of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phytochemicals your body needs to maintain good health and energy levels, protect against the effects of aging, and reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease. Watermelon is definitely rich in color and also rich in health building value.
Watermelon is one of the healthier things you can put in your mouth. It tastes delicious too.
Watermelon can help you trim down too. The weight of a watermelon is 92% water which quickly activates your stomach to send signals to your brain that you are full. I find eating a small bowl of watermelon before my dinner helps to curb my appetite and also seems to help in the digestion of my food. Try it and see how you feel.
Watermelons are American Heart Association-approved
To be certified, products must be low in fat, low in cholesterol, low in sodium and contain 10% of the daily value of one or more of the nutrients, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron and dietary fiber. The American Heart Association found that watermelon meets the criteria for certification.
Once certified, a product can use the American Heart Association's heart check mark, which is a white checkmark on a red heart.
This yummy fruit is loaded with vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals that help you combat disease. A two-cup serving contains 25 percent of your daily recommended intake of vitamin C and 20 percent of your daily need for vitamin A. Plus, it's a major source of potassium and fiber, all while containing only 80 calories
Make watermelon part of you healthy eating plan.
Keep watermelon chunks, slices or juice in your refrigerator.
Pack a slice or cut up chunks in your lunch box. I have been sending a container full for my husband daily and he loves it.
Use as a snack or thirst quencher.
Combine with other fruit or vegetables to use as an appetizer, in fresh fruit salad or as a dessert. Scoop out fruit and cut rind like a basket for a beautiful fruit salad. It can be so refreshing to serve cut up pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe inside a basket cut out from a watermelon rind.
How to pick the best watermelon
Choose firm, symmetrical, fruit free of bruises, soft spots or mold. Ripe watermelon will have a healthy sheen, a dull rind, dried stem.
There should be a melon like smell or fragrance. Thump if you like, the sound should be dull and hollow.
Lift them, weight should be heavy for size. A good watermelon is 92% water, which makes up most of its weight.
Check the bottom. The melon's underside should have a yellow spot indicating where it sat on the ground to ripen.
Avoid watermelons that are very hard, white or very pale green in color on the underside, indicating immaturity. An immature watermelon will be slightly acidic.
I have been told to look for bee stings on the watermelon skin. They look like long, thin scars. They say the bees go to the sweetest watermelons. This has worked for me. Most of my watermelons turn out to be excellent and sweet.
Remember to do your LifeLift breaths daily, drink plenty of water, enjoy your food and create a plan for eating that is healthy and sensible and you will fee like you were meant to feel: healthy, strong and energetic.
Storing
Once picked, watermelon will not ripen easily. If unripe, try putting the whole melon in a paper bag un-refrigerated. This sometimes works to ripen them. Watermelons can be kept for short periods of time, up to 2 weeks, uncut at room temperature.

I was skeptical about the reflexology, because therapies usually have no effect on my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia.I also knew I could not sit the way you were because of stiffness in my knees.I also dismissed video #1 because my knees would not allow me to do the standing positions.
While working in the yard last week I noticed I seemed to be more flexible than I had been in years (thanks to Workout Video #2 done 3 times daily).
Well, I WAS able to do ALL of the positions in Video#1,AND I could sit "INDIAN STYLE" during the reflexology video.In fact, I have done it twice already today.I am more "sensitive" on my left side than the right.And the lymph sites.....Ohhhhhhh,my how tender!!!!

I would like to thank you for sharing your Lifelift breathing techniques with me and all who are willing to receive them. I first found out about you on the internet as I was doing a search on 'aerobic breathing'. I read your website and became excited about this new way to exercise. When I finally saved up enough money, I ordered your tapes. I received your original and reflexology tapes only a week ago. I have only used the original tape so far and all I can say is Wow! I had no doubt that what you were saying was true, but I really didn't expect results that quickly. I don't have a weight problem, but I really needed firming up and toning especially in my lower half.
Even if I was to weight train and aerobically exercise for an hour every day, I would not have achieved the results that I achieved doing Lifelift. My legs are solid -- already. I don't have that separation between sagging tissue and muscle definition that I always use to get. It's like my legs are whole again - firm and tight.
Even on the inside of my thighs, which was always a problem area for me, Lifelift has firmed me up. I can't thank you enough.
I have also noticed a remarkable improvement on my digestion and evacuation -- I have three small children -- in that my midrift has significantly tightened. I do fourty breaths a day, usually broken up into sets of ten, and I feel great. I can't wait to open the reflexology tape. I also ordered your Natural Face Lift masking kit. It is just wonderful. My skin has really responded well. It has toned and tightened my skin nicely that I feel I look younger almost instantly. You're products truly do as they claim.
